The Mountain Tree Skimmer Plus is a patented design for optimal surface pre-filter. Helps to capture the surface debris such as leaves and waste food etc. to release the burden of biological filtration. It can be used to easily control the water flow by simply turning the inner cage, please see video
The Mountain Tree Skimmer Plus fits 100mm DWV pipe, the main skimmer is 205mm Dia and 220mm high.

How do I know which size I should take?
We have three different sizes of the skimmer, which are diameter 50mm, 75mm, and 110mm which fit most of the inlet being used. The diameter here refers to the inner diameter of the bottom of the connecting part to the water inlet. So you just need to know the external diameter of the inlet and choose the skimmer accordingly. How does it work to control water flow?
The Mountain Tree Skimmer Plus is patented well-designed for users to easily control the water flow by simply revolving the axis.
- Revolve the axis to make the external and internal gears match, to achieve the max water flow.
- Revolve the axis to make the external and internal gears semi-match, to achieve the medium water flow.
- Revolve the axis to make the external and internal gears close, to achieve the smallest water flow.
